Techniques and Tactics For Brain Fitness

Memory loss is something that many people deal with as they age. This inability to remember things over time is not something that we all have to live with though. There are plenty of memory training exercises that we can use now to not only prevent memory loss from happening but also to exceed our current memory capacity capabilities.

Training the memory starts first with your diet and brain fitness exercise regimen. Most people aren’t aware that what you eat and how active you are with your body has a profound effect on your brain and its ability to function properly.

If you eat a healthy and wholesome diet with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, your brain will react positively and you will be able to recall things and remember things much easier. Daily exercise will also help you increase your memory capacity.

Besides daily exercise and a proper diet which is a necessity for complete body health, there are also a number of actual memory training activities and games you can use to boost your memory capacity.

On the internet there are plenty of memory training games and programs that you can use to expand your mental capacities. Some of these programs have been tested and proven to work to increase memory abilities and even help you focus more with more clarity. These programs will take you through regimented exercises and training levels to get you to reach your memory goals.

Good memory is not something that everyone has but everyone does have the ability to train their memory to be better. One of the oldest and most effective training programs is called mnemonics.

Mnemonics is a program that trains you to relate pictures, thoughts and/or ideas that relate to whatever it is that you are trying to remember.

For example, if you are trying to remember someone’s name and that person’s name is Mark. Mark is a common name that is somewhat easy to forget, but if you can tie in something with the physical appearance of Mark to his name it will help you remember him better.

Maybe Mark has a big head that resembles a Martian. Now the next time you see Mark, you will instantly remember “Big Martian head. Martian…Mark”. And that is how you make the connection.

Whether it is mnemonics or online brain challenging memory training games, it is possible to increase brain function and memory capacity.
